ثَمَنَهُمْ , aor.
ثَمُنَ , (S, M, Mgh, &c.,) inf. n. ثَمْنٌ,
(M,) He took the eighth of their goods, or property. (S, M, Mgh, Msb, K.) ―

ثَمِنَ ,
He was, or became, the eighth of them: (S, Mgh,
Msb, K:) or he made them, with himself, eight.

seventy-nine, to be eighty. (A'Obeyd, S in art.

ثَمُنَ ,] inf. n. ثَمَانَةٌ, It (a commodity) was, or became, precious, costly, of high
price; and ↓ اثمن [signifies the same; or] it had
